The Dark Knight: My review

Ah, the Dark Knight
I saw this movie first at midnight, and then I just had to see it again so I went with my friend and saw it less than 24 hours after. After seeing it twice I think I can better understand the movie to write a review, and let me tell you this is a movie that any comic-book hero fan/ Heath Ledger fan or action adventure fan would love to see.

The beginning started with a bank robbery by none other than the Joker himself, the scene was really intense and by the end we saw that every single one of the henchman were killed except for the masked Joker. The beginning few minutes was mostly just showing us the characters, a scene with Batman and a look a like, Harvey Dent and his girl Rachael Dawes, and a scene with Batman and Gordon. I'm not going to tell you the whole movie plot, but I will say that Heath Ledgers job as the Joker was unforgettable, his character was so demented and twisted that he killed just to "watch the world burn" he also killed with a knife for the sole reason of watching people's emotions before they die.

Besides seeing the Joker's character blossom, we also viewed Batman in all his glory, not only did we see intense action scenes but we saw a character we've all come to know and love. From seeing Batman in Hong Kong, him using his detective skills and Bruce Wayne showing off his playboy image. One of my favorite scenes is when he rammed his Lamborghini into two cars to save someone, and when asked about it he pretended to be trying to catch a light.

One other thing I must say is about a foreshadow to the next movie, when Lucius Fox and Bruce Wayne where talking about Bruce's costume Lucius tells him it'll protect against dogs (Batman got attacked by dogs) but something that was very random was when Lucius said it'll also protect against Cats. Possible Catwoman appearance? I'd like to hope so, and having her or the riddler (I'd prefer both) in the next Batman movie would be a very interesting thing to watch.

If you saw any other foreshadows or have anything else to say, please comment!

Breaking Dawn Quotes of the day

To get ready for the highly anticipated book Breaking Dawn Stephenie Meyer has decided to post quotes from the book onto her website. Here's what she told us...

A few things to keep in mind about the teaser quotes beginning tomorrow:

1. They are out of context.

2. They are out of order.

3. Some of them are purposely misleading.

4. I have a twisted sense of humor.

(Number four is really the key point there.)

The quotes will probably show up around midnight EST, but no guarantees on that. Sleep is always my first priority.

The quotes will be on my website, too, but I'm not sure what time my brother will have them up. (There is a new little webmaster due any day now, so my site might have some lag time in the near future.)

ETA: to answer Nichole's question below, the quotes will all be listed in order on my website, so you won't miss any if you're away from the computer for a few days.

Enjoy the quotes....and don't go TOO crazy trying to make sense of them.

Afer reading the first two quotes I definetely agree and see what Stephenie Meyer is trying to do to all of us Twilighters..or is it Twi hards? Anyways without furtherado the quotes!

"
Alice: "I'll play you for it. Rock, paper, scissors."
Edward: "Why don't you just tell me who wins?"
Alice: "I do. Excellent."

Bella: "Oh, Mike! How will I go on?" "

So let me know what you think these mean, and if you want to see what people over at HisGoldenEyes think then click the link! I pretty much agree with everybody over there.
